Working Method
The diffusion pump operates through an intricate process:
It begins with heating, leading to evaporation. This is followed by injection and inhalation (diffusion), then cooling liquefaction (gas release) occurs. Finally, the liquid flows back to the bottom of the pump for reheating. This cycle repeats to maintain an efficient evacuation of the vacuum system.
