Purpose

The ZBK series Roots vacuum pump is a crude vacuum acquisition equipment widely used in industries such as paper making, chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, building materials, food.clothing, sugar making, etc. It is an ideal equipment for vacuum dehydration of the long circular mesh suction tank or the long mesh paper machine mesh suction tank in the paper industry. Compared with water ring vacuum pumps, the ZBK series Roots vacuum pumps in this range have advantages such as high pumping speed, high efficiency, compact structure, small size, convenient maintenance, long service life, and low power consumption. The suction medium can be a mixture of dry, wet air, or water.but it cannot contain granular substances, high dust gases, or corrosive substances.



Structure and principle

This machine is driven by an electric motor through a V-belt pulley to rotate the active rotor, and asynchronous gear to drive the driven gear to rotate the driven rotor, The two rotors are not in contact with each other and maintain a clearance of about 0.4mm, Maintain a clearance of approximately 0.25mmbetween the rotor, pump body, and end cover. During operation, in the lower part of the pump chamber.due to the continuous separation of the two rotors, the volume expands. In the upper part, due to the continuous connection of the two rotors, the volume shrinks, completing the suction and discharge of gas, and creating a vacuum on the suction side, while the exhaust side is connected to the atmosphere and close to atmospheric pressure.
There is a soundproof box at the outlet of the pump body, which also has as table pressure and sealing effect, improving the working efficiency of the pump.

Installation of products
The following issues should be noted during installation:

1. Before installation, it is necessary to carefully inspect the inner cavity and upper muffler box of the product for foreign objects. If any foreign objects are found, they must be removed before installation.
2. Reasonable pipeline installation plan should be selected

1. ) The shorter the distance between the outlet of the vacuum system and the inlet of the pump, the better.
2. ) The fewer bends in the pipeline, the better.
3. ) The inlet pipeline should not be lower than the center line of the inlet, and the outlet pipe line should not have factors that cause significant resistance, such as climbing up the outlet pipeline or turning at right angles.
4. ) lt is best to match the inlet and outlet pipe diameter with the product's inlet and outlet diameter While a compact vacuum system might permit a reduced inlet pipe diameter, it must always be at least 90% of the designated size to ensure optimal functionality. For optimal performance, the diameter of the outlet pipe must meet or exceed that of the product's inlet and outlet parameters, ensuring efficient flow and system integrity. Thus, the inlet and outlet pipe diameters should align, maintaining consistent efficiency throughout the system.
5. Avoid abrupt bends in the pipeline; ensure each corner transitions smoothly to prevent unnecessary pressure loss and maintain optimal flow rates. Such seamless transitions are essential for maintaining the system's integrity and operational efficiency.
6. Steel pipes are highly recommended for pipeline construction, providing durability and reliability in performance.
7. For users with the capability, installing a steam water separator before the pump inlet is ideal to enhance efficiency and conserve energy. This strategic installation can lead to significant energy savings and improved operational efficiency.

3. During pipeline installation or repairs, it is critical to ensure that no foreign materials such as iron fragments or welding debris enter the system. Such precautions are vital to safeguard against potential contamination or blockages in the pipeline.
4. To prevent leakage, apply sealing gaskets at all pipeline joints, ensuring a secure and airtight connection.
