Purpose

The ZBK Series Roots Vacuum Pump stands as an exceptional tool in crude vacuum acquisition, finding its application across a multitude of industries, including paper making, chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, building materials, food, clothing, sugar production,and beyond.In the paper industry, it serves as the quintessential solution for vacuum dehydration in the long circular mesh suction tanks or the long mesh paper machine mesh suction tanks. When compared to conventional water ring vacuum pumps, the ZBK Series Roots Vacuum Pumps distinguish themselves with features like superior pumping speeds, remarkable efficiency, a compact build, minimal size, ease of maintenance, extended operational life, and energy efficiency. The suction medium can be a mix of dry or wet air, or water. However, it should not include granular substances, excessive dust, or corrosive materials.



Structure and Principle

This cutting-edge machine harnesses the power of an electric motor, channeling it through a V-belt pulley to set the active rotor in motion. The asynchronous gear ensures precise rotation of the driven rotor. Notably, the rotors operate without contact, maintaining a precise gap of about 0.4mm between each other, and approximately 0.25mm between the rotor, pump body, and end cover. During operation, the continuous separation of the two rotors in the lower pump chamber causes volume expansion, while in the upper chamber their connection leads to volume contraction, thereby enabling the gas suction and discharge process. This process achieves a vacuum on the suction side, while the exhaust side remains near atmospheric pressure.
The pump body features a soundproof box at the outlet, designed to stabilize pressure and enhance the sealing efficiency, thereby boosting the pump's performance.

Key considerations for installation include:

1. Prior to installation, conduct a meticulous inspection of the inner cavity and upper muffler box to ensure the absence of any foreign objects. Should any be discovered, they must be carefully removed before proceeding with installation.
2. Opt for a strategic pipeline installation plan

1. a) Ensuring minimal distance between the vacuum system's outlet and the pump's inlet enhances performance.
2. b) Minimizing bends along the pipeline is crucial.
3. c) The inlet pipeline should align at least with the centerline of the inlet, and the outlet pipeline should be free from high-resistance factors, such as upward climbs or sharp right-angle turns.
4. d) Ideally, the diameters of the inlet and outlet pipes should correspond precisely with those of the product to ensure seamless integration. If your vacuum system is compact, the inlet pipe diameter can be slightly reduced, though it should never fall below 90% of the standard measurement. The diameter of the product's inlet and outlet must be maintained, with the outlet pipe diameter equal to or greater than the inlet dimension. The outgoing pipe should at least match or exceed the diameter of the inlet pipe.
5. Ensure no abrupt bends occur at pipeline corners; opt for a fluid, smooth transition instead. A seamless transition is key to maintaining consistency and efficiency in the flow.
6. For optimal results, prefer steel pipes when constructing pipelines.
7. Where conditions permit, users are advised to install a steam water separator before the pump inlet to boost pump efficiency and enhance energy conservation.

3. During the installation or repair of pipelines, it is crucial to prevent foreign materials such as iron fragments, welding residues, or any solid objects from entering the system.
4. Employ sealing gaskets at pipeline joints to avert the risk of air or water leaks.
